The Amistad are planning a tour for sometime in April 2012 and 3 members will be doing a one off FOUR DUMB KIDS reunion set at Boozey Du 2 in Leeds in May.

They also like above Them have been busy(ish) Since we did the split 7″ , They releases an Album with Bombed out records and of course US  ! but last year they released a split 7″ with Florida based ‘New Bruises’ as part of the All in vinyl split 7″ series.

The boys in Above Them have been very busy over the last couple of years since we did the split 7″ with them and The Amistad, Firstly but most recently they became a 4 piece with new member Adam Bilboa  joining early in 2012 .

They have , like always , Toured , gigged and played all over the uk relentlessly. They have been Invited over to THE FEST a few times in Gainesville USA which led to a few tours while they were over there and they have also had a few stints across Europe !
They put out their first album “blueprint for a better time” on Inhaler / ROIDH records & a split 7″ with Cheap Girls as part of the All in vinyl 7″ series, and now their long awaited and “dreaded” 2nd full length is out now on Specialist subject records (CD / Download) and Kiss of death records (USA 12″ LP on black vinyl) and Yo Yo Records ( Europe 12″ LP on browny vinyl) go buy it now !

(For geeks out there like me, They did a special emergency cover tour for the 12″ LP after the original covers were held in customs for an unexplained rather long amount of time ! The tour is over now and they sold out of the emergency ones after the first few dates)
