Failsafe For Tomorrow
Failsafe For Tomorrow
Failsafe for tomorrow started from the ashes of a semi successful band ‘to die in Paris’. Oz was on guitar / vocals and James was the drummer, the two of them got their friends Tom and Scott to come along for a jam and FFT was born. They played a few shows in their home town of Scarborough and then Disillusioned and James ‘E.C.C’ put them on at a Bridlington show and became instant fans, as did the kids!
Their first E.P – Strike your matches- was release in March 2008 by Disillusioned records, It was a CD ltd to 150 copies which is now sold out!
Since the first E.P was released things have been up and down for FFT. In January 2009 Scott left the band to be full time guitarist for his other band ‘WE HEART KATAMARI (also on disillusioned records) and the band struggled to find a replacement, Just before they were going to go it as a 3 piece, James suggested a friend called mark, which it turned out Oz had gone to collage with.
They had a few jams and realised marks metal influences would be a good addition to their sound, Over the past 6 months FFT have been playing shows, writing and recording their upcoming release – ‘Give up the ghost E.P’ which will be released in January 2010 by Disillusioned records/ Engineer records/ Koi records
