I am pleases to anounce that we will be co releasing the new RED CAR BURNS album with 2 other labels.
The cd is entitled “The roots & the ruins” and should be out in the next couple of months……… More info / artwork and sample tracks coming soon !

I would like to thank the band and the other labels involved for letting me get in on this release !

The Amisatd LP is in now in the process of being pressed and I will have my copies before the month is out !

It’s limited to 300 and is split between myself and 2 other labels, I will only have 90 copies of the record and when there gone there gone !

All copies will come with a digital download and I will be giving 1 copy to a random person on the mailing list / store history so….It could be you !

You will also be able to get a copy (& the split with ABOVE THEM) from the band themselves when they hit the road in April / June, here’s the dates

So as you will probably be able to tell, we have had a “refurb” here at disillusioned HQ all thanks to Jo from Pinkish hue who has changed the software for us ( the last one was very unstable) so hopefully I will be able to add more regularly and in time learn to change the design but I will stick with the basics for now …

We have been VERY busy here at disillusioned records, we have two new releases that are more or less all wrapped up now so here are the details of them so far…….

DR07-The Amistad ‘kept under by a generation of ghosts’-LP

The pressing plant it just waiting for the nod before they press the AMISTADS first full length album on wax … hoary !!  The Cd is pretty much ready for release by BOMBED OUT RECORDS so we should have some kind or release date for the  LP shortly after that’s releases ……or maybe it will be the same day……we will see ! I was delighted when Steve over at BO asked me to be involved in the LP version of the AMISTAD’s debut album and I was also chuffed that Andy from RECORDS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN (ROIDH)came on board to make the LP a 3 way label split release, it is limited to 300 and comes with a free download of the LP via the boffins @ Bombed Out records so you can stick it on your laptop / ipod etc .
So yeah I will let you know whats going on as soon as its all sorted…………….seriously shouldn’t be long !

DR06-Failsafe For Tomorrow ‘Give up the ghost’ EP-CD

This release has gone a bit crazy recently and I can not wait to get it out.
I sent the demo tracks and FFT’s first EP to David @ Engineer records in December and he literally became an instant fan ! This then led to him asking to be involved with the release, not only did he do that , he also sent the tracks to Koi records in the big o’l US of A and they now are on board with the CD. This is amazing news for a relatively “new” band from Scarborough and goes to show how the scene in east Yorkshire has changed since me and james set up the ECC way back in June 2008. We don’t have a releases date with Koi getting involved being a relatively new thing so we are just waiting on their logo to be added to the CD artwork  and then send it off to get pressed asap ! The EP will also be added to Itunes at some point so keep your eyes out for it .

Anyway that’s enough for now , I will update with details of the releases when I know more ….thanks for reading
